Privacy Policy.

This policy explains what CreatStrat collects on creatstrat.com and in the CreatStrat app, why, who helps us process it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

01Who we are

CreatStrat Inc. operates creatstrat.com and the app at app.creatstrat.com. “We,” “us,” and “CreatStrat” mean CreatStrat Inc. For any question about your information, email team@creatstrat.com.

02What we collect on the website

• Free Creative Gap Scan: your email and product page URL, and which form you used.
• Demo request: your name, work email, and brand website or product page, plus your weekly ad volume and notes if you add them.
• Starting a plan: your brand name, email, the weekly ad mix you choose, and your agreement to our Terms of Service. We keep a record of every checkout you start, even one you don't finish, so we can follow up.
• Quote request: your email, how many brands and products you sell, your weekly volume, and any notes.
• Where your visit came from: each form also carries the first page you visited, the site that referred you (its address only, without search terms), and any ad campaign tags on the link you followed (UTM values and Google's click ID).
• Email: your address and whatever you write to us.

We don't ask for sensitive personal information. Please don't send it.

03Analytics, cookies, and browser storage

On creatstrat.com we use:

• Google Analytics and Google Ads, to measure visits and which of our ads bring people who request a scan, a demo, or a plan, and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Google uses cookies to do this.
• The Meta Pixel, to measure and show our ads on Facebook and Instagram, including to people who have visited the site. Meta uses cookies and similar technology to do this.
• Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising, to capture how you use and interact with the site through behavioural metrics, heatmaps, and session replay (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement), so we can improve it. Microsoft uses cookies to do this.
• Browser storage on your device: the details of your current visit for that browser tab, and the email and website you entered in a Gap Scan form so other forms can fill them in for you.

After you pay, the app's welcome page reports the purchase to these advertising tools, with the amount and an order reference, so we can measure our advertising. These companies can combine this information with what they already know about you, under their own privacy policies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of personalized ads from Google at adssettings.google.com, from Meta in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, and from Microsoft at account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings.

04What we hold when you subscribe

• Account: your email and the emails of teammates you invite. You sign in with a one-time link; we don't store passwords.
• Billing: your plan, its price, and payment status. Our payment processor collects your card details directly, and they never reach our systems.
• Brand and product details: your onboarding answers, products, offers, audiences, and the phrases your ads must use or avoid.
• Your files: logos, product photos, and video you upload, with the usage rights you confirm for each.
• Your feedback: comments on briefs and ads, steering notes for the next batch, and your launch calendar.
• Reviews and support messages you share with us, which can include your customers' names and words. Share them only if you're allowed to (see section 11 of our Terms).
• Meta ad performance, if you connect your ad account: spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and video views for each ad. We get read-only access to one ad account, which you can remove in Meta at any time.

In the app we also use Microsoft Clarity's session replay to see how customers use it. Its recordings can include what's on screen, such as your briefs and ads.

05How we use it

• To prepare the Gap Scan or demo you asked for, and to reply to you.
• To follow up on a plan you started, by email.
• To run your subscription: research your market, plan your tests, write your briefs, produce your ads, and learn from your results.
• To send service emails, such as your workspace being ready, a weekly batch arriving, or a confirmed plan change. You can turn off batch emails in Settings.
• To understand which parts of the site and which of our ads bring in the right brands.

CreatStrat staff can open your workspace to produce and deliver your ads, handle plan changes, and give you support. We don't sell your information or use it for anyone else's advertising.

06AI and production providers

We make your ads with the help of third-party AI models and production tools: language models for research, planning, writing, and reviewing images and footage; image and video generation models; and voice tools for synthetic voices. To produce an ad, we send these providers the brand and product details, scripts, and reference images that ad needs, including product photos you've uploaded. Some generation tools store reference images at a web address that anyone holding it can open.

We also use ad research tools that show public ads. Those searches are about your competitors and your market, and don't include your files.

07Who else processes your information

Service providers help us run the site and app, each under its own privacy and security terms. They fall into these categories:

• website and app hosting, including form handling
• databases, sign-in, and file storage
• payment processing
• email delivery
• analytics and advertising (section 03)
• code and document hosting, for the working notes we write about your brand
• AI models and production tools (section 06)

Our payment processor collects your card details directly. We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to a buyer or successor if CreatStrat's business is sold or merged.

08How long we keep it

We keep your workspace and its files while you subscribe, and delete them 60 days after your subscription ends. We delete Gap Scan, demo, and quote requests, unfinished checkouts, and our emails with you 60 days after we were last in touch, unless you become a customer. We keep billing and tax records for as long as the law requires.

09Where it's processed

We and our service providers store and process information in more than one country. When you use CreatStrat, your information can be processed outside the country or province you live in, where it is subject to the laws of that place, including lawful access by its courts and authorities.

10Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop emailing you at any time. Email team@creatstrat.com.

11Security

We limit who can see your information, keep your files in private storage with links that expire after a minute, and require a one-time email link to sign in. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

12Children

CreatStrat is a service for businesses. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

13Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update this page and the “last updated” date above. If a change affects how we use customers' information, we'll email customers before it takes effect.
